The Centre welcomes new director of knowledge mobilization

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Jaime Brown has been named director of knowledge mobilization for the Centre, effective September 21, 2020.

Jaime has extensive experience in evaluation and implementation science, an expertise she skillfully leveraged in her previous role as research coach with the Centre. “Her systemic and outcomes-focused approach to knowledge mobilization has allowed Jaime to build strong relationships with national, provincial and local partners to advance the important work of improving child and youth mental health in Ontario and beyond,” says Executive Director Purnima Sundar. Jaime has played an instrumental role in growing our Innovation Initiatives research funding program and in supporting key provincial groups such as the Lead Agency Community of Practice. Recently, Jaime has led our COVID-19 product development efforts, to ensure we are meeting the knowledge needs of the sector throughout the pandemic.

Jaime holds a PhD in Applied Social Psychology. Prior to joining the Centre in 2017, she has led applied research, evaluation and knowledge mobilization programs in several academic institutions and national organizations for over a decade.
